Sophie Scholl and the White Rose

Alex will return to work with Arrows & Traps for a 6th production this July telling the true story of a group of University students in Nazi Germany who dared to defy their fascist regime. The White Rose were responsible for writing, printing and distributing anti-Nazi literature at the height of their power, risking everything for what they believed in. Their leaflets eventually reached British shores and towards the end of the war were scattered in their thousands over Germany as the Allied planes advanced.

Now on the 75th anniversary of the White Rose, Arrows & Traps will attempt to bring their struggle to the stage.

Alex will play Willi Graf; a severe and slightly unsettling young man. He is nevertheless a valued friend in the group and as a devout Christian, considers himself to be the moral compass of the group.

The play will run at the Jack Studio Theatre in Brockley from July 17 - August 4.

Tickets are available here.
